Michael Fayez Bassili Black is an Australian businessman, media personality and author. At 17 he bootstrapped Success Tutoring out of his parents’ home in Bossley Park, Sydney, bringing a gym-style membership model to tutoring. Franchising it made him Australia’s youngest franchisor. Success Tutoring has since sold more than 100 franchise territories and operates across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada and India. Michael was ranked #13 in Inside Franchise Business’s Top 30 Franchise Executives (2022), has been profiled by Forbes Australia and interviewed on 3AW, FIVEaa and Ticker News. In 2025 he published his debut book, Millionaire Tutor. His mission: to motivate, inspire and uplift millions of students around the world.
